Chief Godfrey KHill is a full blooded native Gullah Geechee, certified tour guide, author and historian from Charleston South Carolina.
Chief Godfrey (AKA Gullah Jack) teaches in great detail about the true meaning of Gullah & Geechee, African American history, Hebrew Slave history, the origins of the city of Charleston South Carolina “The Holy City” and how all of these topics correlate to the history of the Holy Scriptures.
Chief Godfrey began his journey as a historian at 6 years of age being educated by the Elders of the Gullah Geechee community including his Grandfather and Grandmother. Upon learning about the ancient truths of the Gullah Geechee ancestral heritage Chief Godfrey dedicated the next 46 years of his life to researching the true history of the aborigines to the Americas. Those within the Gullah Geechee community would say “Dem Dat come YAH and Dem Dat been YAH”!
As an accomplished Gullah Geechee historian Chief Godfrey is now availing himself locally, nationally and internationally for lectures, discussion panels, book signings and speaking engagements all with the goal of further enlightening inquisitive minds to the hidden truths of Charleston SC and the Gullah Geechee history.
